Read moreWhat is a Log Book Service?
A logbook service is based on your vehicle's mileage (e.g. 10K, 40K service). It's a proactive approach to car maintenance where regular inspections and small fixes can keep your vehicle running smoothly and efficiently. It can also prevent small problems turning into major damage which could be costly to repair.
Why do I need a log book service?
Meeting standards set by the manufacturer. Bringing your vehicle back to its best condition. Leading to fewer or no costs on repairs and replacements in the future.
What happens if I miss a Service?
Delaying a car service can have an impact on the overall health and function of your vehicle. Following the maintenance schedule for your vehicle is important. It will help avoid the possibility of breakdowns or expensive repairs in the future. If your vehicle is still under warranty and you do not have it serviced to the manufacturer's maintenance schedule, you may void your warranty.

Will I lose my New Car Warranty if I don't go back to the dealer?
No. There is no requirement under the Australian Consumer Law for a vehicle to be serviced by an authorized dealer in order for the consumer guarantees and manufacturer’s warranty to apply, provided the service is accordance with the specified requirements by a qualified mechanic or service centre. Inner West Service Centre is fully qualified to service new vehicles. We have more information on this for you in our article. Please click here.

How long will the service take?

The mechanic will inform you of any extra time needed when they contact you about additional repairs, so speak with them to work out a time that suits both parties.
